Safemates was founded by Laura Hill and Co-Directors are Jackie Chamberlain & Dan Jhutti. Our vision is to eliminate loneliness and social exclusion in isolated groups. We want to make a positive difference to the lives of people with Learning Disability offering a quality Safe Relationship Service in Coventry and Warwickshire to encourage people with Learning Disability to be more INDEPENDENT and have more CHOICE and CONTROL over their lives.
Laura Hill, Founder – Laura has lots of experience in supporting and representing vulnerable groups and people with learning difficulties and Autism. Laura is a keen advocate and campaigner for learning disabled rights and issues – She is also the Co-Chair on the Warwickshire County Council Learning Disability Partnership Board.

Jackie Chamberlain, Co-Director – Jackie is the Service Director, she is a great communicator and has a good understanding of learning disabled issues – She has worked in many supporting roles and is keen to promote opportunity and encourage independence. The safety of others and vulnerable groups is Jackie’s top priority.
Dan Jhutti, Co-Director – Dan is the Operations Manager and an asset to the cogs that make Safemates function. He is well known in the local Learning Disabled communities for giving support and advice on living independent lives.
